Frequently Asked Questions

Are these templates compliant with NJ CRC regulations?

Our templates are structured to align with the documentation requirements outlined in NJAC 17:30. They include the fields CRC inspectors typically look for — batch tracking, METRC references, operator sign-offs, and deviation reporting. However, you should always verify your specific documentation requirements with your compliance officer, as regulations evolve.

Can I customize the batch production record for my specific extraction process?

Absolutely. Every template is fully editable. You can add process-specific fields (e.g., winterization parameters, dewaxing temps), rearrange sections, add repeating rows for multi-step processes, and update headers with your company branding. The template is your starting point, not a locked document.

Do the forms work for METRC tracking?

Yes. Templates that involve inventory movement include fields for METRC package tags, manifest numbers, and lot/batch references. The Inventory Input/Output Log and Waste Disposal Record are specifically designed to mirror the data points you need for METRC reconciliation.

How do I add my company logo to the forms?

In the editor, click on any empty area to open Form Settings. Under the Header section, enable the header and paste your logo URL into the Logo field. Your logo will appear on every printed page and generated PDF.

Can multiple operators fill out forms simultaneously?

Currently, FormForge is designed for single-operator form completion — one person fills out and signs each record. Multi-user concurrent editing is on our roadmap. For now, the recommended workflow is: create the form, print it for floor use, or have each operator complete their section sequentially.

What paper sizes are supported for printing?

FormForge supports Letter (8.5 x 11), Legal (8.5 x 14), and A4 paper sizes in both portrait and landscape orientation. You can configure the paper size and margins in the Form Settings panel.

Can I use these templates for other state cannabis programs, not just NJ?

Yes. While our cannabis templates are optimized for NJ CRC requirements, GMP documentation standards are similar across state programs. The batch records, cleaning logs, and equipment calibration templates follow cGMP principles that apply in any regulated cannabis manufacturing facility. You may need to adjust specific field labels to match your state's terminology.

How do I generate a PDF of my completed form?

Click the PDF button in the editor toolbar. FormForge generates a pixel-perfect PDF with your configured header, footer, and page settings. The PDF opens in a new tab where you can download or print it. For demo forms, save the form first to enable PDF generation.

Is my data stored securely?

All form data is stored in Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled — only authenticated users within your organization can access your forms. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never share your form data with third parties.

What happens if I need a form type that is not in the template library?

You can build any form from scratch using our 25 block types — text fields, tables, checkboxes, signature blocks, repeating sections, and more. Start with a blank form or fork the closest template and modify it to fit your needs.
